The Dynamometer
Carly Motors and the Dutch research institute TNO are the only two companies in the Netherlands who have the Dyno test bed. Both companies are exclusive approved by the RDW, Dutch department of Road Transport licenced on engine power for car manufacturers.
About the Dynamometer
The dynamometer is a device for measuring force, torque or power produced by an engine. It can calculate by simultaneously measure torque and rotational speed (RPM). And can be used for variety of engine development activities, such as the calibration of engine management controllers, detailed investigation into combustion behaviour, and tribology. Not only usefull for cars, but all kind of engine driven machines such as boats, trucks ect.
